Plasma Connection was founded in 1998 by Sereen Gerhardt and her daughter Jamie with a simple business vision, "to treat customers the way you would want to be treated". Plasma displays panels had just been introduced to the consumer world and were very expensive.  There was a need for a company to provide a solution to their high cost that would allow your average person to purchase and enjoy this new and exciting technology.

From that need Plasma Connection was birthed in a humble office in Poulsbo, WA, a small quaint Norwegian fishing village across Puget Sound from Seattle. The early days were a mother and daughter team with the focus on honesty, integrity, and delivering a good product on time. Using this business approach their reputation and business began to grow rapidly. Today the original www.plasmaconnection.com is one of the oldest sites of its kind on the internet. Joined by the newer www.invisiondisplays.com web site, the company has matured into one of the oldest and largest purveyor of HD displays products on the World Wide Web.

In 2004 Plasma Connection was incorporated in the State of Washington and given the name Invision Technologies Corp. Over the years Plasma Connection/Invision Technologies has been honored with a variety of awards and accomplishments. However, the one the founders are most proud of is being chosen by many of the worlds leading and best electronics manufactures to represent their products. Today, Invision Technologies has strong direct dealer partnerships with Pioneer, Panasonic, NEC, Yamaha, LG, Samsung, and many more top manufactures. These relationships allow Invision Displays to provide the latest and best products. It also provides our customers with the assurance they will receive only new out of the box items backed by the manufactures warranties.

In 2006, Invision launched its first showroom known as Poulsbo Audio Video Integration (Poulsbo AVI); this has opened the opportunity to expanded products lines and service abilities. With the family oriented approach to business and a continual commitment to the original "vision", Invision Technologies Corp. is now one of the oldest and most elite providers of displays products nationally and on the internet.
